Wesley Meadows' Obituary
Wesley Meadows of Leesburg, Florida, passed away suddenly on January 14th, 2022 after a long and valiant battle with heart and kidney disease.
Wesley was born on February 25th, 1944 to James and Vida Meadows in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Wesley had a long and distinguished career in the Telecommunication Industry, retiring as a crisis center manager in 1999.
He was an avid motorcycle rider and a longtime member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA). After retiring Wesley spent his time working at several Motorcycle Businesses in sales as well providing welcome and appropriate advice to fellow motorcycle enthusiasts. He also enjoyed going on weekly rides with his friends of the motorcycle club. Detailing cars, motor cycles, boats and even a small airplane was also something he liked very much.
His family, friends and fellow co-workers remember him as a loving, caring and generous man who always had time to help anyone who needed it. He was a very active member of Christ United Methodist Church in Leesburg. His quirky sense of humor had everyone who knew him smiling at the recollection of his witticisms.
In 1965 he met Sarah Albright, and they wed in 1966.
Wesley is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sarah Meadows and his brothers James (Ann) and Jerold (Pam) Meadows and several nieces and nephews.
