Robert Anthony Bertolami's Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Robert Bertolami, 77, of Leesburg, FL on August 11, 2022.
He was born in Manhattan, NY to Anthony and Kay (Luna) Bertolami. The family moved to Hollywood, FL in the 50’s and he graduated from McArthur High school in 1964. After graduation, he moved to Fremont, CA to attend college in San Jose and later returned to Florida to enlist in the Marines from 1965-1967 for a tour in Vietnam.
Robert returned to California and began his career in the manufacturing business as a Q.C. manager with Georgia Pacific. He ended his career in Cumberland City, TN where he experienced a new lifestyle, made many new friends and rose to the top using his talents in the industry that he started in California.
Robert is survived by his wife of 30 years, Liz Whalen-Bertolami, his brother, Jerry Bertolami, sisters, Blanche and Dina, sons, Marc and Matthew, daughters, Kimberly, Tiffany and Kellye, nine grandchildren and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Alan Bertolami.
Robert loved fishing, card games, cooking for friends and family and refinishing antique trunks. He was a dedicated family man. Robert will always be remembered for his kind and quiet nature. He was loved.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the "American Cancer Society" in Robert's name.
