my brother was a Marine , I ended up going Army, so when I got my 1SG he was so happy and excited for me that from then on when ever I would call some where in the conversation he would ask how is it going Gunny which is what the Marines called their version 1SG . I was so honored and felt so special and new he was so proud.
Bob was the sweetest man you will ever meet, his smile always filled my heart and his support and love for me and his family was always evident. He was a Marine who served during Vietnam , he was one of the reasons I Joined the military. His love of food and cooking was a big part of who he was, it was a joy to watch him cook the countless Italian meals when we as a family were together and who knew he can bake the most delicious Apple pie I ever had . While I have a hole in my heart, I am so blessed to have the memories of my dearest Brother .
Bob was not only a handsome man; but always compassionate, with a smile that filled the room. I’ve know Bob since I was 13. As kids we shared a lot of fun and happy times. He will always be a happy memory in my life. My deepest condolences to Liz and family, he will be truly missed.
On behalf of your family in Texas we send love and support in the loss of such a special man! The Warnacks
We first met in the mid-90s working for Mapei. Perhaps because we were both born in late March (Zodiac sign Aries), we hit it off instantly. The fact that we both liked red wine and were veterans didn’t hurt our relationship either. Even though we later held different jobs at different states, that did little to deter our camaraderie. I will always remember how great a cook you were and how delicious your meals were. I considered it a blessing having met you, but I know you’re in a better place now. I miss you, Bob.
Rest in God's loving Arms, Bobby. Your friendship and loving kindness will never be forgotten..You will always be so loved and so missed.... Until we are all together again..XO ❤️
My Dear Friend Bobby, We met many years ago in the 6th grade at Driftwood Elementary and have remained friends ever since. We had some really great times together along with many of the "kids" from school. And of course, our families! You were always so very special to me and I will miss you dearly. Fly with Angels my friend. I love you! Until we meet again. Eileen Brennan McDonald
