Randolph H. Watkins' Obituary
Randolph H. Watkins, 61, Pensacola, Florida passed away on February 1, 2017 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, Florida. Mr. Watkins was born on December 31, 1955 in Woodstock, Illinois to his parents Raymond H. Watkins and Gladys L. (Gerstenberg) Watkins. Mr. Watkins had worked for Baxter Healthcare International as a Project Manager. He had also invented many products which had been patented with Baxter Healthcare International. He had moved to Florida 2 1/2 years ago from Wonder Lake, Illinois. Randy was of the Christian faith and had been a former member of the Masons and a lifelong member of the Wonder Lake Yacht Club. His life’s passion was sailing. The pinnacle moments for him were sailing in the British Virgin Islands with friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 27 years: Bonnie Watkins of Pensacola, FL; his children: Grant Watkins of Pensacola, FL and Melanie Watkins of Woodstock, IL; a brother: Raymond Watkins, Jr. of Colorado; sisters: Susan Gilbert of Colorado and Carol Brody of Florida and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Wonder Lake, Illinois. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The ALS Association, Gift Processing Center P.O.
