Bonnie - My sincerest condolences to you and your children on Randy’s passing.
Randy was, is and will always be my best friend. He shared his love of life with me, from which we had many, many great times. In golf, Randy was the Seve Ballesteros of our time. He would hit his drive into places that I though not possible, then make a brilliant come back shot. It was fun to play as a team, as our competition would think that they had won a hole when they saw one of Randy’s errant drives, only to have their bubble burst when he made an incredible shot to save the hole. When Randy taught me how to sail c -scows, the first lesson was how to right the boat after capsizing. We used to say that we were the best at this until one of the other sailors pointed out that one cannot sail fast while swimming. Randy got the point and become a great sailor. I will always remember the good laughs we had and continue to tell the stories of the crazy fun things Randy instigated.
Randy - I will see you on the other side where I know there are a couple of cold beers waiting for us before our next round of golf.

Bonnie, please accept my deepest sympathies. Randy was a terrific employee and a good friend. He always had a way of bringing sanity to a world where there was very little. He will be sorely missed.

A Poem to Randy
I sit here and cry all day
Because I have an emptiness that nothing can take away.
My heart hopes that it will heal
And my mind try's to compute that this is real.
My love will always be true
And I will forever think of you.
So now I will try to move ahead
And I know that you are in heaven and not in your bed.
Please watch over all the ones that you loved and don't forget to send me that white dove!
I know your now at peace, so for me that helps me release some of the sorrow that I will feel today and tomorrow.
Here is a final goodbye but I can't help but to cry, for the time that you had is now gone. I will sing our favorite song.
You are off to see the wizard,
That is what I would say and just thinking about it put a smile on my face.
I will smile again and it's because you are free
an angel in heaven who will watch over me!
Love always
Holly
I remember that I asked Randy one time what he loved the most, and he said my kids!! He said he enjoyed sailing with his daughter Melanie, and that his son was probably the most humble people he ever knew.
I asked him another time, "Randy, what was your greatest accomplishment?" and he said "my two remarkable kids." He said that Bonnie was such a wonderful mother and he was blessed to have her.
The things that Randy cherished the most was his family.
Bonnie, so sorry for your loss. I'm glad I knew Randy; I always enjoyed talking with him and working together. Please accept our deepest condolences.
