Peter “Pete” Guido, 71, of Leesburg, Florida passed peacefully at Shands Hosptial after a brief battle with an aggressive lung disease on August 18, 2018 surrounded by his wife and daughters. Pete is survived by his wife and best Read Obituary
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Maryann and your girls. We had some great times in the days of Roundout camping. You were always good to our family and we loved being around yours. Pete will be missed by many.

I remember camping up in Roundout with Pete and Mariann, Mary and the kids were up there while i was working down in the big city. The guys had a habit of putting nicknames on the bug screens of our trucks. There was BIG BLUE, BLUE KNIGHT, BIG BEAR, BUSH PILOT,SKIP-O-MAN, BUTT MAN, BLUE THUNDER, and i know for a fact that Pete and John Greer came up with STICKY FINGERS for my bug screen. That's right most nick names describe the persons occupation or habits ( good or bad ).All the guys never though i would leave the STICKY FINGERS on my truck but i did.
I have known Pete and his family for over 30 years and he always made me and my family feel right at home.
The only bad point that i can make about Pete and the whole Kingston crew is that when they came down to the city to catch a Yankee game, they would loose.
Even after i begged them not to go !!!!!!!!!!!!!
