Nancy C. Parrish's Obituary
Nancy Parrish, 69, Fruitland Park, FL won her battle with complications from cancer when she stepped into heaven with God on December 16, 2012. She was blessed in life with 50 years of marriage to her wonderful husband Bill who was the love of her life. She dearly loved her sons and daughter-in-laws; Chip and Darlene and Scott and Tami, who were a constant source of strength and support. She enjoyed all the time spent with her grandchildren Ashley Ford (Jarrod), Kyle and Chelsea Parrish, Kaylee, McKenzie and Kara Parrish and great grandsons Cason and Reese Ford and Logan Parrish. Nancy also leaves behind her sister Karen Rauth (Allen) and many close friends and prayer partners. She is preceded to heaven by her parents Ralph and Wilma Stofleth. Nancy’s life was happy. She was a Teacher and a curriculum specialist for 36 years in Indiana and at Oak Park and Drabney Elementary schools in Leesburg. She had a great love for her students and fellow Teachers. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church receiving Jesus Christ as her savior in 1976. She spent many years doing volunteer work at the Pregnancy Care Center. Love for Bill her family and her Lord Jesus Christ form the core of her life. This lady was the true example of goodness, kindness and generosity and she touched a lot of lives. A Celebration of her life will be held at First Baptist Church of Leesburg on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2:00pm.
