There are so many memories that flood... even those words remind me of Buddy. She always signed any thank you note oceans of love. Buddy and Bill... what a team they were, each one a powerhouse of love and wisdom. Buddy at the piano.. thousands of times we have seen and listened to the music she brought forth. In church, at Aglow, at our Tuesday morning ladies meeting Buddys fingers would stroke the keys and heaven would come down. LIves were changed because of the way she led us all into the throne room of God. But you really couldnt be in her presence anywhere at anytime without experiencing some measure of heaven. Jesus was so very vivid in and through Buddy that even now years later I can remember the sound of her voice and the gentleness that made its mark on me when I was just a young girl of 19 yr when I first met her. I am now 68 yr so for years I was honored to be a recipient of the lovely grace and warm hospitality that flowed like a river from her heart straight into mine. I remember watching her type... she was our church secretary for many years and I marveled how fast she could go! She giggled and assured me it was because of playing the piano....kept her fingers nimble. I loved to hear her giggle. Her daughters inherited that same giggle.. Ive heard it. There was a time when I thought Buddy lacked discernment about people... way too nice. Doesnt she realize such and such about so and so? That was before I realized it wasnt that she didnt realize as much as it was love exempted her from judging them. She spoke of people always... believed the best..... enjoyed people and forgave the worst over and over. She was a role model to me every day I knew her. A woman to be imitated because her role model was Christ . Love forms a bond that distance and time doesnt dissolve. We have never stopped loving her.... and anticipate our reunion with glad hearts. How blessed we are to know this beautiful friend......Our prayers for comfort for her family who she loved beyond measure.
As we celebrated Mother’s Day on May 12, 2019 our Mom, Lora Dell Forman, went to be with the Lord. She told us often how much she loved the Lord and wanted to be with Him. Mom would say how much she missed her mom and dad and especially her Billy.
Our mom was such an inspiration, teaching us many virtues, manners and values; how to be kind and strong - not ever saying “can’t”. We owe so much to our Mom as we remember the good, funny, and thoughtful ways about her. Her favorite color was pink. She loved to share coffee and dessert. She loved to lead, play and sing unto the Lord; her most precious gift being the ability to play the piano and organ.
We love you Mom and we celebrate your life!
