I have known Karl since the early 80's...probably when he went into the nursery business. I ran Silcox Wholesale Nursery Supply out in Sorrento, and Karl and his wife at that time were regular customers. I always enjoyed waiting on Karl, (he always knew exactly what he wanted without hem hawing around). He was smart and polite and always paid his bills on time. As time moved forward into the middle 1990's , I had business dealings with him again, as I worked for Blalock Foliage, Inc. L & K Plants was our regular supplier of dracaena. Never did he say he was out of a certain item. He always filled our orders and his quality was such that we NEVER got a complaint. He was a fine man, smart, hard working, humble... and I will miss him. Rest in peace Karl..your work here is done, now Heaven is blessed with your soul.
