I first met Greg when I was anxious in my first year of Seminary, and he was a senior and took me under his wing with his gracious and friendly personality. We played lots of ping pong, and though I never beat him, even when he used a padless paddle, we had lots of fun. (Game on when I see you in heaven, Greg.) When he was interviewing for Leesburg, I had the honor to refer him to the leadership search team and was able to reconnect at district events and golf outings. I'm sad to hear of his leaving us so soon. Kathy and I send our condolences and prayers to Beverly and family.
You helped me find faith again and reminded me that I was not alone. Your kindness and love went beyond words. You welcomed me as part of your church family and that means more to me than I can ever explain.
Thank you for being a light in my darkest time and for showing me what true compassion and faith look like. I will always carry your support and guidance in my heart.

When you travel together, share the news of Jesus, sing your hearts out, pray around the altar with teenagers, endless miles of travel, late night returns to campus...it binds you together in a special way. I loved Greg and Bev then, I love them now. The kind of love that doesn't care how long, how many years, we will always be close in the deepest measure of our hearts.
I'm so sad that Greg has suffered for so long. But, happy that he is Safely Home!

Greg Brown was my cousin and was just three months younger than me. My dad and his mom were siblings. The Stewart’s and the Browns had many wonderful vacations, meals, and music together. Although we lived at opposite sides of the country, and I hadn’t seen Greg for many years, I have treasured memories of our families times together. I look forward to seeing Greg in Glory!
