Dot was so very special. She touched our lives that will forever leave a hole in
our hearts. She made our lives so much better by being in our lives.
She will always be remembered with love and thankfulness for knowing her.

Being around Dot was indeed a treat...if your spirits were low that would soon change in her presence. She could make a joke out of any situation and lift your spirits. I remember Dot with nothing but smiles! She was truly one of the funniest people ever. Her droll sense of humor never failed to lift my day when I walked into the office at Lake Silver. She will have them smiling in Heaven tonight!

Dot was such a bright ray of sunshine. She truly had the greatest personality of anyone I have ever known. She was kind, encouraging, thoughtful and caring. But she could also bring you to your knees with laughter. Her wit and ability to tell a story were second to no one. She was always the center of attention in a gathering at school. She would brighten a room just by walking into it. I was most blessed to have worked with her for many years. She was, and always will be, the sweetheart of Lake Silver Elementary School.
My heart is very sad for her loving family. I will keep you all in my prayers. Herb has my utmost admiration. He has been selfless in his care of his bride. His gentle and loving support has shown all of us the living definition of true love.
We will miss her greatly. But we will treasure so many acts of love and moments of laughter with our precious friend.
