I have known Donnie since we went to middle school at 16th St. He was my
brothers best friend and though most of his friends teased and made fun of
me, Donnie never did. He was always very nice to me. He was a good person
and a good friend. May the lord comfort his friends and family who love him.
Thanks for being an inspiration to all of us on Thunder Row, Donnie. We'll miss you! To his family, thanks so much for sharing him with us! God bless you all.

I "knew" Donnie through the Teach Me Bass Guitar Thunder Row forum, and was continually inspired by his "never give up" attitude. He frequently got knocked down by his illness, but always immediately got up again and started down the path again. An inspiring friend, but one that I never met face to face. He was a very important part of that community for the last few years and someone that we will miss immensely.
