Dale B. Gilcrest's Obituary
Dale B. Gilcrest, 81, Summerfield, FL. passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at The Villages Hospice under the loving care of his family. Mr. Gilcrest was a Pharmaceutical Salesman for Bristol Meyers, Squibb and was of the Methodist faith. He was born on August 1, 1930 in Steubenville, Ohio to his parents Lawrence and Nell Gilcrest. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Army as a second lieutenant. He was a member of the American Legion of Rolling Acres, The Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion both of Arizona and a former member of the Elks lodge. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 ½ years Sue Gilcrest of Summerfield, FL.; a son: Lawrence Gilcrest of Akron, OH.; four daughters: Amy Gilcrest of New York City, NY, Barbara Gilcrest of Akron, OH, Debra Parker (Rick) of Munroe Falls, OH and Laura Lambright (Dean) of Wiersdale, FL.; three brothers: Kent Gilcrest of Texas, Phillip Gilcrest of Doylestown, OH, and Dana Gilcrest of Steubenville, OH.; a sister: Marjorie Gilcrest; four grandchildren: Tracie Lambright, Heather Grace, Justin Lambright and April Parker; seven great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at Page-Theus Funeral Home on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 2:00pm.
