Beverly A. Jensen's Obituary
Beverly A. Jensen, 76, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on February 6, 2017 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was born on February 27, 1940 in New Hampshire where she lived until meeting the love of her life, Charles Jensen. They were married October 3, 1959 and moved to New York City/Long Island to raise their 4 children. Her devotion to her family and her love of traveling kept her busy and filled her life with joy. She lived her life with a passion and joy that was contagious. She found a way to laugh often and find the best in everything and everyone. She cared for the people in her life and left a lasting impression on all the lives she touched.
Beverly is predeceased by her parents Stuart and Stella Carter. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles, their children; Linda (Robert) Franklin of Rochester, NY, Lorie (Lowell) Benjamin of Rochester, NY, Lisa Manes of Medford, NY, Charles (Christine) of Pleasant Valley, NY. She is also survived by her sister Gail Bicknell, Step-mother Irene Carter, step-brother David (Catherine) Carter. She is predeceased by sister-in-law Joan Lovetro and survived by brother-in-law George Lovetro also of Leesburg, Florida. She has 8 grandchildren Jenny (Jack), Julie (David), Jillian (Peter), Justin (Colleen), Taylor, Autumn, Amelia and Charley, as well as 6 great-grandchildren Benjamin, Cole, Natalie, Theo, Tyler and Olivia. She also leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is home with God and will be missed more than words can express. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Mass will be held at 8:30 AM on May 13, 2017 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Leesburg, FL.
