Andrea Lee Rody, 45, Sarasota, FL. passed away on August 6, 2012 in Tampa, Fl. Ms. Rody was born on March 2, 1967 in Annapolis, Md. to her parents Andrew and Shirley Lee Rody. She has resided in Sarasota since 1988 and had moved from Ft. Lauderdale, FL., and had originally moved to Florida from Crofton, Md. She was the owner of Andrea’s Pool Service of Sarasota and was of the Protestant faith. When she was a young girl she liked to play soccer and loved to roller skate which she had won many ribbons for her ability. She was an avid gardener and had a green thumb when it came to plant care, she also enjoyed photography, fishing and taking care of her beloved pets. She is survived by her Mother: Shirley Lee Rody of Ellenton, FL.: a brother: David W. Rody of Ellenton, FL.; two sisters: Coralee Powel of Ocean Pines, MD. , and Carol Ann Childree of Waldo, FL.; several nieces and nephews, and her good friend: Nan Nahum of Sarasota, Fl. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto, Florida.Online condolences may be left by visiting www.pagetheusfuneral.com.
