Obituary for Zoraida Del Carmen Lopez
Zoraida Del Carmen Lopez, age 43, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was born on April 7, 1976, to Oscar and Luz (Santamaria) Vega in Chiriqui, Panama. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and homemaker to anyone she invited in. Zoraida perfected unconditional love. She would consistently bring her family together, making sure to leave behind beautiful memories with everyone gathered from bowling to spending a day at the park. Along with a passion for singing and dancing, she loved to travel and party the night away. In her legacy, she will be remembered for her compassion, bubbly spirit, and her love of life. Zoraida is a long-time member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in Leesburg and devoted to her faith.
Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life, Brandon Lopez, her parents; Oscar and Luz (Santamaria) Vega, her sons; Felix Menuji Vega (Yasuyo), Brandon Lopez Jr, Daniel Bryan Lopez, her brothers; Oscar Vega, Oscar Menuji Vega (Janet), her sister; Arauna B. Vega (Billy), two grandchildren; Julia Zoraida Vega, Hero Menuji Vega, and a host of many nieces and nephews, family members, and many friends. She also is survived by her beloved four-legged companion that will always sit and wait for her; Cloud.
A viewing will be held on Monday November 25th, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Another Viewing prior to the Service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Latter-Day Saints in Leesburg, followed by the Funeral at 11:00 a.m.
