William “Bill” Edward Sillery, age 75, died peacefully in his home in Leesburg on September 19, 2021. He was a 1965 graduate of Northmont High School in Dayton, Ohio. He was in the Army reserves for four years and worked at Ohio B Read Obituary
Bill and Amber were the first people to come over and welcome us to the neighborhood 5 years ago. We became good friends right from the start. Bill was always willing to help when we needed him. I will never forget our Wednesday dinners at Perkins and discussing “our Jordan Speith” next golf tournament. You were physically in our lives for a short time but will be forever in our hearts. You will be missed my friend.
Amber and I were just talking about Bill in the pool last week. She was telling me how grateful she was to have him in her life because he was always there for her. She was telling me what a kind man and loving husband he was. He had a great sense of humor. We and the community will miss him. Al and Debbie Orenchuk.
Ruth and I met Bill’s father and mother after i returned from Vietnam, 1968 or 1969. I used to drink a little bourbon with Harold on the weekend. He said you need to meet my son as he has old cars. Then one Sunday , Bill was at his dads, and i introduced myself to him. We both like and had old cars. Over the last 50 years or so we have built a lot of 32 Hot Rods, and drove them many miles. We were around when Angie died in a car accident.During those years many miles have passed between us, and life has sure changed us all. We will miss Bill, i called him Silvers, he was a lot of fun, we will sure miss him. RIP SILVERS!
