William Edward Galusha's Obituary
William “Bill” Edward Galusha age 73 passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014 at the Cornerstone Hospice House in Tavares, Florida. Bill was born in Saratoga, NY and recently moved to the Grand Island, Florida area from Argyle, NY. He retired in 2000 from the S C A Paper Mill as a supervisor after 30 years of service. He was also a proud veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, and served in Vietnam. He was a wood worker and his mechanical ability carried over to many skills. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family and will be remembered for his feisty banter teasing his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren every chance he got. Most of all he will be remembered by those closest to him for his immense love for his wife of 51 years Dolores. Other survivors include: 2 Sons – Dennis (Colleen) Galusha of Argyle, NY; and William Galusha of Glensfalls, NY; Daughter – Tammy Galusha of Grand Island, FL; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
A Funeral Service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services-914 West Main Street, Leesburg, FL 34748 (352-787-5511) with interment following with military honors at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to: Cornerstone Hospice 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
