William Ellsworth Lee Sr.'s Obituary
William Ellsworth Lee Sr. passed away on Wednesday June 24, 2009 at the age of 88. He was born August 21, 1920 in Daytona Beach, FL. to the late Frank and Margaret Lee. William served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corps, and continued serving as an aircraft mechanic for many years at the Jacksonville Naval Air Station. He was a member of the American Legion, and supported the Shriner's Club and St. Jude Hospital. William is survived by his wife Ruth, one son William 'Toby' (Marilyn) Lee Jr. of South Daytona, FL., two daughters; Carol Schumacher of Interlachen, FL., and Susan Lee Starr of Ocklawacha, FL. He is also survived by one sister Mary Elizabeth Hall of Gulf Port, FL., nine grand-children; Jerry Schumacher, Tommy Schumacher, Angela rose Lee, William Lee III, Diana Katherine Lee, Tonya Marie Lee, Brittani D. Lee, Rebecca Lee, and Donnie G. Lee, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Page-Theus Funeral Home. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Saturday from Noon until 2:00p.m. Interment will take place following the services in Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials in Williams honor be made to the Shriner's or St. Jude Hospital.Page-Theus Funeral Home
