Wendell Carl Byerley's Obituary
Wendell Carl Byerley II, Leesburg, FL, transended this world on June 7, 2013. Carl served Lake/Sumter counties for many years as a Teacher, Counselor, and Case Manager to the Dually Diagnosed and Mentally Challenged individuals. He was born January 21, 1953 in Indiantown Gap, PA. Carl served in the U.S. Coast Guard (75-77). In 1977, Carl married Mikki Walters, in Fort Walton Beach, where they had met at age 15. Carl received his AA degree from OWCC (1982), and 3 Bachelor Degrees from UWF (1986).
Carl is survived by his wife, Mikki; son Christian Byerley (and wife Brandy); son Judson Byerley; sister, Kathy Levin (and husband Carl); sister-in-law, Jan Moore (and husband Fred); nephew Sherrod Levin; neice Wendy Levin; and five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Madison, Andrew, Ian, and Skyler.
