They just don't make um like Mr. Wayne any more!!! One person that almost couldn't say no. He would help you no matter what or when if at all possible. Sure enjoyed all the talks at his old barn as I was growing up coming over with my dad to get welding work done. A true friend and Hard Working and Honest person!!! We loved Mr. and Mrs. Padgett just plain beautiful people.
Wayne was a great family man with many friends, a great husband to my sister Poe, and brother-in-law to Colleen and I. We loved the times we spent with them, he always had time for visitors, our love and prayers to the family. John and Colleen Dwyer
Words can't express the thankfulness Steve and I have for the friendship we had with Wayne and Pat when we moved into the neighborhood. If we ever needed anything all we had to do was call. Wayne had a lot of fun with our dog Rufus. He knew Rufus would do most anything to get to a ball and Wayne would come over and make mazes for that crazy dog to climb and go through to get to that ball. And every morning when we let Rufus out of the house, he would run straight to Wayne's house for his morning hot dog. As much as he cared for Rufus, we knew he cared that much and more for us. And when Wayne cared for you....you knew it was for real. Thanks Wayne for all the good times and being a fabulous neighbor and friend.

Uncle was always there when he was needed. He and Aunt Poe took us in years ago in Hollywood, then when I moved to Okahumpka, they were always there. Uncle redid my house before we moved in and told me I would move back to Hialeah within 5 years. That was in 1996, and we still haven't moved back. Lol
