Wayne Lee Horgeshimer's Obituary
Wayne Lee Horgeshimer, 86, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on December 9, 2024. Wayne was born in Lansing, IL, on November 30, 1938 to his loving parents; Alva and Olive Pearl (Wheeler) Horgeshimer.
Wayne was of the Protestant faith and became a resident of Florida in 1987. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy for four years and in the Navy reserves for two years following. He worked for 23 years in transportation for Jones and Laughlin Steel Company until his retirement.
Wayne was a proud member of the Veterans of Pennbrooke in Leesburg, FL.
Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Charlene Horgeshimer, his two sons; Dominic (Mattie) and Brandon (Sheena), six grandchildren; Faith, Hope, Laney, Lily, Morgan and Donovan, as well as his siblings; Earl and Judy.
