Warren Lester Disbrow's Obituary
Warren Lester Disbrow age 69 passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Leesburg, Florida. Warren was born in South Norfolk, Virginia and moved to the Leesburg area in 2008 from Watervliet, Michigan. He retired from U. S. Air Force where he spent 20 years playing the French horn in various Air Force bands around the country. While still active duty in the Air Force Warren went back to college and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bellevue College, Bellevue, Nebraska and became a high school teacher finally retiring from Grace Christian School in Watervliet, Michigan. He was an active member of Grace Bible Church, Fruitland Park, Florida. Warren moved to Pennbrooke Fairways in Leesburg and continued an active lifestyle even taking on a part-time job and the Leesburg AMF Bowling Center. His love of music led him to join the Lake County Band as Lead French Horn, the Plantation Brass Band, and the Pennbrooke Chorus group. He was an avid bowler participating in 3 leagues and maintained a 190-200 average. He was also a member of the Pennbrooke Softball team.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years Karen; Son- Jason Disbrow of Ft. Worth, TX; and 3 Sisters – Sherry Podjan, Marjorie Bishop, and June Simonton all of St. Joseph, Michigan.
A memorial service is planned at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at
11 A. M. December 30, 2015.
