Warren W. Carlson's Obituary
Warren Wesley Carlson, 97 years old, went to be with the Lord Oct. 22, 2015 at home in Sebring, FL. where he lived with his wife, Jean, for the past 10 years. They attended the First Assembly of God Church on Kenilworth Blvd. with Pastor Paul Earwood. He was born Oct. 4, 1918, to August and Virginia Carlson in Ellsworth, IL. He worked for many years on the Nickel Plate R.R. running between Peoria, IL. and Cleveland, OH. After moving his family to Orlando, FL. in 1952, he owned and operated dry cleaning and carpet businesses. He moved to Wildwood, FL. in the 1970s. His going home service will be performed at Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church, 101 S. Truett St. Leesburg, FL. on Saturday, Oct. 31st at 1 pm, with viewing at 12 pm. Pastor Lawrence Reeves, whom he served under as Deacon for 20 years, will be officiating the service. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Page-Theus Funeral Home in charge. He is survived by his wife, Jean Carlson, son, Mike Carlson (Carol), daughter, Claudia Wall (Paul), 6 grandchildren, Timothy Carlson, Mark Carlson, Karen Roberts, Thomas Evans, Kathryn Evans, and Kimberly Funte, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He is predeceased by brothers, Elwood and Carl-Glenn Carlson, granddaughter Alyssa Carlson and great grandson Matthew Evans.
