Walter Bjork's Obituary
Walter Bjork, 88, passed away on Oct. 10, 2012. Mr. Bjork was born in Manhattan, NY and retired to The Villages in Sept. 2004. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Corps in both Guam and the Philippines. Walter was a member of the Scandinavian Club, the Opera Club, and enjoyed travelling and playing Pinochle. When young, he was a fine ball-room dancer. Survivors include his wife Pat and son Christopher Bjork. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Leesburg.
