Virginia Adams' Obituary
Virginia E. Adams, 98, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2019 at The Villages Regional Hospital under the loving care of her family. Virginia was born on July 1, 1921 in Leadmine, West Virginia to her parents M. Wade Phillips and Sara Catherine (Ashby) Phillips. She was a loving homemaker to her family and was of the Christian faith. She had moved to Central Florida in 1999 from Virginia. Virginia was a military wife supporting her husband Troy through his military career of over 22 years. She enjoyed quilting, knitting and was an avid reader. Virginia loved to discuss politics, but especially loved her family and her home. She is survived by her two loving daughters and son-in-law’s: Lindola L. Sarks and her husband Johnny of Bowling Green, OH and Wadella Ann Martin and her husband Gary of Howey in the Hills, FL; four grandchildren: Nathan Moore, James Sarks and his wife Jill, Katherine Dyke and her husband Dave and Jenny Sarks; five great-grandchildren: Arianna Settle, Victoria Moore, Christopher Dyke, Cory Sarks and Abby Sarks; three great-great-grandchildren: Ayden, Michael and Matthew. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Troy Adams. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg with a Graveside Funeral Services to be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 1:30PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida where she will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Troy. The family has requested donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice at 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778 in Virginia’s loving memory.
