Virgil Dale Hardenbrook's Obituary
Virgil D. Hardenbrook passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the age of 93. He was born on October 11, 1919 in Shelby County, IN to the late Vern and Bertha Mae Hardenbrook. Virgil lived most of his life in the Indianapolis area where he worked as consultant to the HVAC industry. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge 13. Locally he was a member of the Eagles Nest Baptist Church in Fruitland Park. Virgil is survived by three children; Rebecca Meriweather of Rennick, WV, Janet Sue Baker of Fruitland Park, FL, and David Hardenbrook of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one sister Lois Montgomery of Indianapolis, IN. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Wilma Catherine Hardenbrook on August 7, 2006. Services for Mr. Hardenbrook will be on Wednesday, today, in the Eagles Nest Baptist Church of Fruitland Park at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be today, at the church from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
