Victor Dvorsky's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Dvorsky on January 9, 2026. Born on January 25, 1938, Victor left a great imprint on all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His absence will be profoundly felt by his loved ones and all who knew him.
Victor was a quiet and caring individual, known for his attentive nature and warm heart. His favorite pastimes were reading and listening to music, activities that allowed his gentle soul to thrive. He was a regular at his local Denny's, a spot where he formed cherished relationships with those who worked there.
Victor was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served for four years. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of sergeant. As part of his service, he was awarded a Good Conduct Medal.
In his professional life, Victor was an exceptional math teacher. His passion for the subject was contagious, inspiring a generation of students to explore the beauty of numbers. This accomplishment was one of his proudest, a testament to his dedicated and nurturing spirit.
Victor will be remembered most vividly by his loving family. Survived by his daughter Karen Abate and her husband Michael; his son Kenneth Labonski and his wife Valerie; his grandchildren Matthew, Allison, Jacob, Justin, Olivia, William, and Collin; his sister-in-law Eileen Mathews and her husband Gary; and his nieces and nephew Rebecca, Rachel, and Robert. Victor leaves behind a legacy of love. His beautiful family is a testament to the wonderful man he was.
Victor was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Dvorsky, his parents, Mary and Victor Dvorsky, and his sister, Frances Epinger. Victor's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, as they remember his immense love for them and the joy he brought into their lives.
His life was filled with quiet moments of beauty and simple joys, and he will be missed tremendously by his family, friends, former students, and all who knew him. We celebrate a life well-lived, a man well-loved, and a legacy that will continue to inspire. Rest in peace, Victor Dvorsky.
A small service will be held at 11:00am on January 19, 2026, at Page-Theus Funeral Home, 914 W Main Street, Leesburg FL.
