Veronica G. Wrinkle's Obituary
Veronica Gallik Wrinkle, 94 Passed away on December 10th. Born in Monessen, PA on February 6, 1921, she was known to her family and friends as Ronnie. She Worked as a “Rosey the Riveter” during WWll in Detroit, Michigan, where she met and married Bill Wrinkle. They moved to Florida in 1946 where she has since been a resident of Leesburg. When she came to Leesburg she and her family became active members of St. Paul’s Catholic Church where she has been a staunch member ever since. She began working at the Durham Young Clinic in 1947 and continued in nursing for 55 years until her retirement in 2002. Ronnie was predeceased by her husband William E. and her son William E., Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Woody) Stewart, of Leesburg. Grandchildren Bill (Stephanie) Wrinkle lll, Leesburg; John R. Wrinkle, Leesburg; Woody (Kim) Stewart lll, Leesburg; J. Keith (Lori) Stewart, Winter Garden; 5 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A visitation and Rosary service will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2015 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL. A Funeral Mass will follow on Thursday December 17, 2015 at 8:30AM at St. Pauls Catholic Church, Leesburg, FL. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Paul’s Catholic School.
