I think I've known Mrs. Beach all my life.
When I got home from the service, I shared the information with Roger Fomby (also from Okahumpka) who now lives in Germany. He was remembering playing with Ralph when they were 3 or 4 years old. He asked me to share his condolences with you.

Ms. Vera was as faithful and hard working as they come. Though in her 90's, she helped every year at the Church Yard Sale to raise money for our Food Bank. She bagged the items people purchased, so we nicknamed her the "Bag Lady." She was such a good sport! She also helped out at the annual Leesburg Bike Fest, as we raised money for various projects around the church. She was quite a trooper!
We will miss her dearly!

I remember Ms. Beach from back when I worked at Beach's Western Store. She would stop by to visit Ralph. She was such a sweet lady, I am very sorry for your loss.
