Vaughn Allen Reichard, age 61, of Fruitland Park, FL entered his eternal home on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
Vaughn was born on December 17, 1962 in Ocala, FL to Edmund and Evelyn Reichard.
He was a loving husband to Debby Reichard for 44 years. He loved his children, Christy Mauriell (Brent) and Stephen Reichard (Meghan) unconditionally. He was an amazing Pops to Nolan, Brooklyn, Stephanie, Nathan, Christian, and Lily. He is also survived by his brother John Reichard (Diane), his mother-in-law, Winnie Jean Willis, his brother-in-law, David Willis, and several nieces and nephews. He was reunited with his father, Edmund Reichard, his mother, Evelyn Reichard, his sister, Ann Fessenden, and his father-in-law, Ernest Willis.
Vaughn was the owner of Quality Tire & Brake in Lady Lake, FL for 45 years. Not only was he a business owner and mechanic, a very important part of his business was sharing the gospel of Christ with his customers not only through his conversations, but also through his giving and selfless actions.
Vaughn absolutely loved spending time with his family. He would do anything and everything for them and he loved doing it! He loved cooking for his family for every holiday and gathering. He made special cakes and meals for each family member for their birthday. He could also build and fix anything. When he had free time, he loved to golf with his boys and bake with his girls. He and his wife also loved eating out at their favorite local restaurants and spent many years traveling together.
Services will be Tuesday, September 17 at Grace Bible Baptist Church, 1703 Lewis Road, Leesburg, FL 34748. The viewing will be at 3:00 pm with the service beginning at 4:00 pm. The graveside service will follow at 6:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1901 County Road 25A, Leesburg, FL 34748.
