Troy Vernon “Hot Rod” Foster Troy Vernon “Hot Rod” Foster age 58, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at his residence. Hotrod was born in Leesburg, Florida and lived his entire life in the Lisbon area of Lake County. He was a Welder and Fabricator and worked for the Thompson Steel Company in Astatula for over 15 years. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be remembered by his friends and loved ones as a “Jack-of-all-trades” because he was could build or fix almost anything. He is survived by: His loving wife of 13 years – Jolene; Son – Dwayne Foster of Lisbon, FL; Daughters – Katelin Andersen of Lady Lake, FL; and Heaven Manteca of Lisbon, FL; Brothers – Ernest and Jeff Foster both of Lisbon, FL; Sister - Betty Heard of Alabama; And 2 grandchildren- Troy and Sam Hot Rod’s life will be celebrated at a graveside service in the Lisbon Cemetery, Lisbon, Florida. The Rev. Roger Wolfe will serve as the Officiant. Page – Theus Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements.
