Timothy Thomas Rodiez's Obituary
Timothy Thomas Rodiez, beloved husband, son, father, uncle and coach among many other things, was called to eternal life on January 25, 2024, at the age of 64. Son of Janice Rodiez and the late Thomas Rodiez, brother to Tony (Chris) Rodiez and Cindy (Jim) Brenner. Loving husband of 20 years to Susan Borkowski. Devoted father to Robert Rodiez (fiancé Tina) and Cassandra(Adam) Blaha, and stepfather to Jennifer (Joshua) Bartlein, Rebecca Kleinschnitz and Daniel Kleinschnitz. Adored grandpa to Deven, Ava, Darien, Shai, Noah, Jonah, Eli, Ezra, Evie, Mason and Wade. Loved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Tim was born and raised in Milwaukee WI, graduating from South Division High School and then went on to Southwestern Michigan College on a running scholarship. Being an avid sports fan, Tim worked for over 30 years as a sporting goods salesman at Athletic Equipment Repair, Milwaukee Sporting Goods and finished his career with Riddell Sports. He began his love of coaching when he coached his children in baseball and softball, and eventually track and cross country, where he became a loved and respected coach for nearly 20 years at various area high schools.
He enjoyed running and cycling in his free time, including participating in the Boston Marathon. Tim and Sue owned rental properties together, lovingly named TandS Properties. This was so the two could move to their snowbird winter home in Leesburg, Florida, where they enjoyed the warm weather and each other’s company.
Tim had an incredible sense of humor, expressed through Facebook trolling family and friends, dad jokes, and fighting with his family over his love of the Chicago Bears, which according to Tim, “Chicago is closer than Green Bay!”
He lived his life unapologetically and without hesitation, something by which the whole family was inspired. Tim was a kind man with a gentle heart, strong will, and passion for life, and will be missed by all.
Tim’s life of hard work and determination can be best expressed through his favorite song “Eye of the Tiger”
His celebration of life and services are pending and will be announced in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
