Thomas R Wasil's Obituary
Thomas R. Wasil passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 in Leesburg, Fl under the care of Cornerstone Hospice. He was born on September 4, 1945 in Warren, Ohio to Charles & Mary Wasil.
He graduated from St. Mary High School in 1963. He graduated from Youngstown State University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree. Tom worked at WCI Steel for 43 years.
He enjoyed Nascar racing and especially golf after moving to Florida in 2006.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Darlene, sister Joan Mattis, sister-in-law Lois Wasil,Nephew Robert Wasil(Tami), nieces Bernadette Kashien(David) and Carol Cabosky(Steven). He also has 5 great nephews, 4 great nieces, 4 great-great nieces and 1great-great nephew.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Charles Wasil and brother-in-law John Mattis.
