Frank Monteleone
Mr. Morgan was my high school English teach at Rye Neck HS. He forever changed the course of my life when he "forced" us to read Walden by Henry David Thoreau. A book to this day, that I still cherish and love. In class he prompted us to look deeper into the meaning of the words, phrases, such as "the mass of men lead loves of quiet desperation" and write our thoughts in the white space of the pages. That "ah ha" moment and the others that followed gave me the impetus to always "dig", not to just read the words be it a newspaper or a book. Thank you Mr. Morgan. I wish you love, peace and heaven.
