Mr. Thomas Denton Bennett Sr.'s Obituary
Thomas Denton Bennett, Sr. age 93 passed away Thursday morning, February 21, 2013 in Ocala, Florida. Mr. Bennett was born in Utica, Kentucky and moved to the Salt Springs, Florida area in 2004 from West Palm Beach, Florida. Before his retirement he was an accountant in the construction industry for over 35 years. He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Army and served as a medic during WW II under General George Patton’s Command. He was a life member of the Amvets Post 19 and the V. F. W. in Ft. McCoy, Florida.
He was pre-deceased by his wife of 58 years Maxine. He is survived by his 4 children Thomas D. Bennett, Jr. of Plano, TX; Maurine (Frank) Lunsford of Salt Springs, FL; Paula (Rick) Mueller of Mt. Juliet, TN; and Chuck (Jani) Bennett of Turner, OR; 9 Grandchildren and 22 Great-Grandchildren.
Graveside Services will take place at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Fordsville, KY on Monday, February 25, 2013.
