Thomas “Tomas” Aviles, 77, Orlando, Florida passed away on October 30, 2018 at Orlando Health Center, Orlando, Florida. Thomas was born on October 6, 1941 in Isabela, Puerto Rico to his parents Fernando and Isolina Aviles. Thomas was a retired Driver in the Private Sanitation Industry. He and his wife Linda moved to Orlando in 1994 from Wantagh, Long Island, New York. He was of the Christian faith. Thomas was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local #1034 where he served as Shop Stewart and as a Trustee. He is survived by his loving wife: Linda Aviles of Orlando, FL; three sons: Michael (Jennifer) Aviles of Orlando, FL, Davis (Rosa) Aviles of Baldwin, NY and Thomas Aviles, Jr. of Queens, NY; five daughters: Alison Aviles and Ryan Anderson of Chicago, IL, Joanne (Nick) Tuminello of Lynbrook, NY, Deborah Aviles of Patchogue, NY, Lena Aviles of California and Bonnie Ackermann of Virginia; a brother: Antonio Aviles of Texas; a sister: Sylvia Maschmann of Germany; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild and three great-great-grandchildren.
