Thomas Alton Johnson, 67 of Leesburg passed away on Sunday May 10, 2009. He moved to Central Fl in 1998 from Miami. He retired after 22 years service in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. He was an avionics mechanic with Pan American World Airways. He was very involved in Royal Highland Community Service. He was a cherished husband , wonderful father, blessed son, great grandpa and a proud American who fought for and loved his country. He was honest, loving and large as life. He enjoyed everyone and loved god, his family, and community. His beliefs, values and integrity will always live on through his devoted family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Otilia D. Johnson, Leesburg; son Thomas Frank (Julie) Johnson, Indiana; daughter Michelle G. (Deynnis) Johnson-Peterssen, Miami; mother, 1 sister and 2 brothers, 3 grandchildren. Friends may call on the family Wednesday May13, 2009, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Page-Theus Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday. Burial will follow on Thursday May 14, 2009, 10:00 AM with full military honors at Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, FL.
