Terry Ray Hambleton's Obituary
Terry Ray Hambleton passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at the age of 71. He was born on Feb. 8, 1941 in North Olmstead, OH to the late Elwin and Dorothy Hambleton. Terry served his country as a Sea Bee in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1965. He retired after 34 years of service as a trouble lineman for the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company. Terry very much enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. Fishing, hunting, boating, and the relaxation of a glass of wine and a fine cigar were among his greatest pleasures. He was a member of the American Legion Post 601, the Geneva Eagles Club, and a board member of the Griffwood Retirement Community Co-op. Survivors include his wife Alice Jean Hambleton, sons; Kelly (Rosemary) Hambleton, and Terry (Sonia) Hambleton, and a granddaughter; Hillary Alice Hambleton. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Karl. A memorial service is planned for a later date back home in Ohio. In-lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials in Terry’s honor be directed to the Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd. Tavares, FL. 32778.
