Sunny O'Neill's Obituary
Sun Ja O'Neill, 84, of Leesburg, FL, passed away peacefully under the compassionate care of UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital on September 20, 2024. Sun Ja was born on March 23, 1940 in Seoul, Korea.
Sunny married her loving husband, Charlie O'Neill on June 9, 1965 in Korea. The couple moved to New Jersey following their ceremony and had a son together, Michael. Sunny made their house a home and was a dedicated and loving mother and wife with a famous saying "my way or the highway".
In 2001, the couple moved to Florida and Sunny continued to share her warmth with her community. She was a social butterfly and enjoyed spending her time playing cards, mahjong, dominoes and of course, shopping. Sunny was a beautiful woman inside and out, she will be remembered fondly for her kind heart and friendly nature.
Sunny was preceded in death by her son, Michael O'Neill.
Sunny will be missed dearly by her beloved husband of 59 years, Charles O'Neill and many loving friends in her community.
