My connection to Stephen was through Trout Lake Nature Center and Harris Chain Power Squad. The Power Squad meets at the Nature Center.
While our interactions were infrequent his impact was large. Stephen always entered with a smile and a humorous comment; he made the TLNC staff feel like best friends. We will miss his visits and think of him every time we see a mention of the Power Squadron and safe boating. Lavon Silvernell, TLNC

I have often thought of Mr. Kupferberg over the years and was sad to read that he had died. He was a patron at the library where I work, and I hold fond memories of his coming in for library materials. He always brought such brightness into the library when he came in. I missed him when he stopped coming in and have never forgotten him. My deepest sympathies to his family.
