Our Christmas card to Star was just returned to us. Someone wrote deceased on the envelope.
I couldn’t believe it. What a sweet lady. We exchanged Christmas cards and updates every year. We went to high school together and lived in the same town. I know Kathi too. We are so sorry to hear of Star’s passing. And Kathi, so sad that you no longer have your sister with you. I can still see the two of you getting off the school bus. Also coming into to our store on Front Street. We are shocked and saddened by this news. Star was so young to leave us. But, God’s plan, not ours.
Rest in peace.🙏

Star certainly lived up to her name.....she brightened the lives of those she knew. As very caring sincere person, Star was a great "listener", she always took the time to remember details about peoples lives and gave great advice. Star had great energy and was a calming presence to those who needed it.

Star was such a special person. We shared Eastern Airlines and American Airlines together. She was well known with the flight attendants because of her smile, friendliness and bubbly personality. She was always willing to volunteer or help whatever and whenever it was needed.
We were also breast cancer "sisters!" Sharing stories and seeing how each other was doing. She will be deeply missed by anyone she touched. She has angels wings now. We love you, Star.

Flying with Star at EAL was always a delight. She was such a joy and one of the most generous and giving individuals I have known.
The joy continued with American… it was a coming home moment after several years.
She lit a light and no matter where the second and third lives took us, we continue to get together to this day.

Star had the kindest , loving, caring heart. I am so fortunate that she came into my life. I meet her when we first began flying at AA we shared many Eastern stories together as I had worked there also at another base. Her kindness to the passengers and crew was always above and beyond and her beautiful smile that made everyone feel so comfortable.

I wish this family peace to bring comfort, courage to to face the days ahead and loving memories of Star to hold forever in your hearts.
