Dr. Stanley R. Moss' Obituary
Dr. Stanley R. Moss, 90, passed away on December 26, 2014 at his home with his loving wife by his side. Dr. Moss was born on April 24, 1924 in New York, New York to his parents Nathon and Bertha Moss. Stanley and his wife LaDon moved here to Leesburg, FL in 2000 from Montana. Dr. Moss was a General Practitioner with his own private practice in CA for 25 years. Dr. Moss was a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force for 10 years serving in Guam and the Philippines. After serving his country, Dr. Moss spent 7 yrs. in Red Lodge, MT. in a group practice. Dr. and Mrs. Moss then found The Plantation of Leesburg, Fl. where Stanley enjoyed playing pickle ball, tennis, and racket ball with his friends from the Plantation. Stanley was a member of the Elks lodge number 1995, Mason lodge number 334, and the Shriners number 17474. Dr. Moss is survived by his loving wife of 45 years: LaDon Moss of Leesburg, FL; Daughter: Sherri Moss of Reno, NV; Grandson: Thomas Byers of Reno, NV and many Plantation Friends. Donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice in loving memory of Dr. Stanley R. Moss. Services have been entrusted to Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL.
