I wish to express my deepest condolances at the passing of our friend, Shirley. I have known her and Ernie for 17 years and worked closely together. She will be missed by many people
I met Shirley when I joined the Silver Springs Citrus family, then when I joined the extended family by marrying Lee whom Ernie had helped raise. Shirley & Ernie stood up with Lee & I when we were married at their house, and she was like a mother to me. Shirley & Ernie were like grandparents to our kids. She will be sadly missed as she was truly a wonderful person.
