Sharon Kaye White's Obituary
Sharon Kaye White, 80, of Leesburg, FL, went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2025. Sharon was born on April 1, 1945 in Ypsilanti, MI, to her parents; James Oscar and Bonnie Maxine (Duncan) Reed.
Kaye was a very talented artist and enjoyed spending her time painting landscapes, flowers, lighthouses, etc., to donate. She was a collector of beautiful teapots and china. Kaye also loved to travel with her husband, Bob. The two would venture on Alaskan cruises, road trips through Canada and also trips to England.
Kaye has been a member of 1st Baptist Church Leesburg since 2018 and was very active in her church community. She loved serving the Lord alongside her husband, she worked in the Widow's Ministry, Children's Ministry, Connect Groups, TAG Women's Ministry and hosted a small group bible study in her home.
Kaye will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by her friends and family, especially her husband of 24 years, Bob. She was his best friend, counselor, prayer partner and companion, but above all else, the love of his life.
Kaye loved Jesus and sought to honor Him with every aspect of her life.
Kaye is survived by her husband, Robert White, children; Richard A. Martin (Vanessa), Benjamin White and Sarah Clark (Sean), five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and siblings; Terry, Alan, Randy and Brenda.
Kaye is preceded in passing by her parents; James and Bonnie Reed, and a brother, Jeffrey.
