Scott Christley's Obituary
Scott Dale Christley, 64, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on November 12, 2025. Scott was born in Miami, FL, on September 17, 1961, to his loving parents, Benjamin and Margaret (Boeckler) Christley.
Scott was a Florida native through and through. He was an impactful member of his community especially in Leesburg and a successful business owner. He and his wife, Mary, owned and operated Skate World Leesburg together for the last 41 years. Scott was a devoted husband, loving father, brother, best friend and dedicated speed coach. His passion was training inline racers for Speed National, he trained many champions. Aside from his time at the skating rink, Scott loved to be around family, taking trips to Disney World trading and collecting pins.
Scott made a mark on everyone he met, he will be missed dearly by not only his beloved family, but his community.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Christley, his daughter, Megan Macinski and her husband Chris, and a sister Debra Stephan and her husband Eric as well as his mother, Margaret Christley/ Shield.
Scott is preceded in passing by his father; Benjamin Ward Christley Jr. and his grandmothers, Marie Esther Schenot and Hilda Marie Christley.
