Ryan Joseph Smith's Obituary
Ryan Joseph Smith, "Rhino" 45, of Leesburg FL passed away on Thursday December 15, 2022. Ryan was born in Stanley, KS on August 24, 1977, to his beloved mother Gwenda North.
Growing up, Ryan often traveled back and forth between Kansas and Missouri, but ultimately spent most of his time in Missouri with his best friend and future brother-in-law, Anthony. At the age of 13, Rhino knew he would marry Anthony’s sister, Josephine, and that he did on November 16, 2002. On their wedding day, he told Josephine's mother, "I told you I would marry her."
Ryan graduated high school while also completing and graduating from R.O.T.C training. Rhino loved playing golf and also enjoyed drawing. He was known as being a giver with a big heart.
Ryan is survived by his wife Josephine, and children, Marissa Jo Smith, Chase Daniel Smith, and Halie Nicole Clinton. As well as his brothers: Ken (Jill) and Dennis, a brother-in-law: Anthony, two nephews: Jacob and Jack, a great nephew; Fletcher, and grandchild; Sophia.
Ryan is preceded in death by his mother, whom he took great care of until she passed and a child, William Anthony Smith.
