Ruth V Lee's Obituary
Ruth V. Lee passed away on Friday, July 24, 2009 at the age of 81. She was born on August 30, 1927 in Ft. Green, FL. to the late Henry and Verdie Mae Douglas. Ruth was well known for her varied interests, such as her fishing abilities. It was said that the fish would jump on her hook. She loved to travel and camp, she loved the outdoors, but was best known by the family as a great cook. Ruth was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years just one month ago. She is survived by one son: William 'Toby' (Marilyn) Lee Jr. of South Daytona, FL., two daughters; Carol Schumacher of Interlachen, FL., and Susan Lee Star of Ocklawacha, FL. Ruth is also survived by one brother Waver Douglas in Alabama, nine grandchildren ; Jerry Schumacher, Tommy Schumacher, Angela Rose Lee, William Lee III, Diana Katherine Lee, Tonya Marie Lee, Britnei Dee Lee, Rebecca Lee, and Donnie G. Lee, and six great-granchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Page-Theus Funeral Home. Friends and family may call on Saturday from 11:30 until the time of services. Interment will take place following the services in Lakeside Memory Gardens. Memorials in Ruth's honor may be made to the Hospice of the Nature Coast.Page-Theus Funeral Home
