Ruth Donna Messina, 91, of Leesburg Florida, passed away comfortably on April 20, 2026. Born April 18, 1935, in Buffalo New York, she graduated from Lafayette High School. Ruth and her late husband Philip J. Messina, were married Read Obituary
Ruth was an active Member of the Royal Highlands Rosary Group until the pandemic after which we lost many members due to death, illness or departure from our community. However, I was happy to see her on my visits to St. Lawrence and she greeted me with her lovely smile. Due to her declining health, she had to stop her attendance. She was a faith filled child of God and will be greatly missed. May her soul Rest in Peace and May Perpetual Light shine upon her.
Ruth was a very active member of the Royal Highlands Rosary Group up until the pandemic; after which many members failed to return and our members dwindled drastically due to illness, death and moving away. However, I would still see her whenever I visited St. Lawrence. She will be greatly missed by us all.
