God blessed me with a wonderful, caring mother. Words could never express what she meant to us and all the joy she brought to our family. She was not only my mother, she was my friend. I miss her so much, but I will see her again, in Heaven, one day. I remember playing games with Grandma, whether it was a board game inside or badminton in the backyard. I remember Sorry and card games. She loved her crossword puzzles too. I remember that ever since she made breakfast for us when Grant was a baby that he forever associates sausage with Grandma. He would always ask her to make sausage for him on our later visits. She loved making food for guests, so I'm sure that made her happy that Grant wanted more sausage.
One of the last good memories I have was when we visited a couple years ago, and I walked up behind her, wondering if she'd remember me. She turned her head and immediately said "Hi, Greg!" That was special. We will miss her!

"Ruby was a great woman, wonderful mother, and a loving mother-in-law to me. I will always remember how she patiently use to try to show me how to play tile rummy, hahaha, which by the way, I still don't know how to play. I always enjoyed visiting her in Florida and just sitting around in the morning relaxing and drinking coffee. Every time I see a Christmas cactus or crown of thorns, it will always remind me of her. "

I have lots of good memories of this sweet lady I call Grandma. Playing rummy with her. I remember how much she loved the game rummy cube. I also remember her yummy beef stroganoff that I learned to make from her recipe. We always went on walks whether she visited us or we visited her. She called sandwiches "sammiches". She made me laugh the time she showed me and my sisters how she kept from getting makeup on her clothes. If you told her something, chances are she would say aha in the only way I can hear her say it! She made me a dress once and I still have it to this day! Love and miss her!
I will always remember playing Monopoly & Sorry with her and my brother,and how she always took time out to swim with us.How she would tuck me in at night & read The Three Little Pig story to me until I feel asleep! The most important thing I will always cherish about Grandma is how much she loved her family! It didn't matter how far away from her we lived or how old we were we all knew how much she loved us!
I will always remember the scrambled eggs she made, playing War, Sorry and Pickup Sticks with me, and making a homemade pumpkin pie.
